SFA's Targeted Marketing Efforts Gains Momentum
Over the past several months, the Steel Framing Alliance (SFA) has made a much more deliberate and strategic effort to market the benefits of building with steel to those construction industry professionals who are building more mid-rise and low-rise multifamily projects. This focused effort took another successful step forward when a mix of more than two dozen high-profile developers, owners, architects, general contractors and design build professionals came out last month for an SFA business briefing at the World Trade Center in New Orleans.

In addition to the “Fundamentals of Design and Construction with Cold-Formed Steel,” the Alliance also presented a compelling business case for what makes steel an excellent material choice for these types of projects. As the Gulf Coast region continues plans for rebuilding, more and more developers are looking at multifamily and mid-rise projects as a viable option. With that in mind, the SFA is well positioned to continue aggressively engaging these key audiences to make the case for steel as a durable, cost-effective solution for their projects.
