Random Lengths Lumber Market Report
With key green Fir items the major exception, framing lumber prices stayed on a firm to higher track. Factors influencing the upward tick include cutbacks in production and strong first quarter gains in Canadian housing starts particularly driven by heavier-than-usual activity in the multifamily sector.
